Sotalapsi Katrine varttuu Saksassa mutta muuttaa aikuisena Norjaan äitinsä luo. Hän sopeutuu hyvin muutokseen ja elää onnellista perhe-elämää äitinsä, miehensä, lapsensa ja lastenlastensa kanssa. Salaisuudet alkavat kuitenkin paljastua, kun Katrine todistaa sotalapsiasiaa koskevassa oikeudenkäynnissä Norjan valtiota vastaan. (MTV3)

An unusual story based on a number of true events, which you wouldn’t believe actually happened until you watched the movie itself. The lives of all people whom you meet on the street, in a bus, or on the subways, are diverse and rarely simple. Katrine, for example, lived a life nobody ever wished to have. Her whole life, she was hiding her identity, but in the end, the truth caught up with her. I cannot imagine anybody could keep such a secret and I certainly cannot imagine that somebody could be such a monster as to ask that of people. Two Lives have convinced me that even such stories are written by the world we live in.
