englanti Everything you can imagine in a Korean drama is all here in one place. And surprisingly, it doesn't feel overdone. Shi-yeon Park finally got a role she could do well in. I've always wanted to see her in one of these roles. Still, the star of the show for me was Chae-won Moon, who surprised me a lot. Her earlier performances in other series were nowhere near this level of quality. Joong-ki Song is a very fine actor, though I'm still more taken with the likes of Hyun Bin, Rain, or Hyeok Jang. But that doesn't change the fact that he handled his role incredibly well. His looks gave me goosebumps at times and I never knew what to expect from him. A great show. ()

englanti I guess I'll be one of those "misunderstanders" again, the ones who weren't touched by this series at all (like with Time Between Dog and Wolf :-D). But I just didn't get it, I thought it was stupid, terribly artificial, and full of unnecessary and empty scenes. I admit that there were a few moments where I liked it, where I smiled or felt some sort of emotion, but all this was overwhelmed and overshadowed by my constant head-shaking, how could the writers possibly come up with something so illogical, why are there so many "made-up" scenes that are just planted here to move the plot somewhere, why does it not look natural at all? The music could've been more beautiful, Joong-ki Song could've been more self-flagellating, the story could've been more self-destructive, but too bad. I was really looking forward to the series, went into it with a clear head and no preconceived notions, but in the end left disappointed by some artificial patchwork that plays at drama. I honestly love amnesty, but here I laughed at it. I love clichés, but here they were so oddly juxtaposed that I didn't enjoy them. In short: it was so illogical that it turned me off the entire series. Plus, I was bored about 65% of the time. ()
