This campy sequel to 'THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES' finds Vincent Price trying to revive his dead wife. His quest for the necessary elixir takes him to Egypt, to an ancient chamber buried deep in a mountainside, once used by the pharaohs. Even though the plot is peculiar and there is nothing particularly unexpected in it, I still can't help it. "The Resurrection of Dr. Phibes" is still a good movie to me, capable of evoking interesting emotions in the viewer, which may not necessarily be fear, but rather unpleasant feelings due to the inevitability of death portrayed here, the feeling that no one can escape their fate. Those aspects are also present in the theatrical masks.
