Rikas liikemies Marc haluaa viedä vaimonsa vuotuiseen gaalaan, mutta heidän nuori poikansa tarvitsee lapsenvahdin. Kiireessä ei löydy parempaakaan vaihtoehtoa, joten tehtävä lankeaa Marcin firman uudelle työntekijälle Franckille, jonka on pakko suostua pomon pyyntöön. Sen paremmin Marc kuin Franck eivät kuitenkaan tiedä, että Franckin kaverit ovat suunnitelleet miehelle samaksi illaksi eeppiset 30-vuotisjuhlat – yllätyksenä totta kai! Lapsenvahtikeikka ei saa olla bileiden esteenä, joten koko juhlat siirretään pomon lukaaliin. Marcin pojastakin kuoriutuu todellinen riiviö, joka ei aio antaa Franckin päästä kuin koira veräjästä. Kun poika hyppää kesken bileiden pyörän päälle ja katoaa ihmisvilinään, on katastrofin ainekset käsillä. (Atlantic Film Fin.)

With comedy, I mostly want to laugh, and this requirement was met perfectly by Babysitting. It’s too bad that a party once again has to play the main role, but I guess that makes it a sure thing. And out of all the movies where a house party gets out of hand, this one stands out for at least some maturity and broadly set boundaries of humor. It basically takes on everyone and everything. And that's how I think comedy should be. A weaker 4 stars

The starting point, which didn't entertain me itself. This is simply a "Hangover in Vegas" a little differently. The guy wants to celebrate his thirtieth birthday, but at the same time, he has to babysit his boss's child. The boss is called back from vacation because the babysitter and the son got lost. I can't help it, but I don't really care how it actually happened anymore, and the course of the movie didn't impress me for the plot.
