A teenage boy is forcefully taken from his home in the middle of the night by his parents consent, to a harsh reform facility. There is no contact with the outside world and the retired war colonel in charge prides himself on breaking an inmates spirit to correct delinquent behaviour. A power struggle between troubled kids and troubled adults who know no other form of control than fear and violence. Definitely an interesting topic, which was approached more like a dramatic film, not so much like an action film. This means that the pace of the film is quite slow and reflects into the overall tone. It can be boring. That's just the way it is. On the other hand, it is quite likely that the story has the potential to captivate you. Only the acting performances are not always convincing.
