Suzy is a young woman in Los Angeles who can't get comfortable in her own skin. Friendless and alone, her sense of alienation begins to stretch into the deepest corners of her life. Before long her anxiety grows into a gnawing suspicion that a true menace lies just outside her field of vision. Scrambling to take control of her life, she discovers to her horror that the harder she tries to break free of her entrapped existence, the stronger her surroundings manage to close her in. Entrance isn't a movie for everyone, but it finds its audience precisely because of how it's filmed and how, thanks to its rawness, it manages to convey genuine emotions to the viewer. You might not get the chills, but I can imagine that you might turn off the movie feeling unsettled, thinking that this is something that could happen, and ultimately appreciating how well it was filmed. But it's also possible that after turning it off, you won't feel anything at all.

If it was a bit slower, it would go in reverse, but other than that, it’s a fairly passable indie flick. When things finally become interesting horror-wise twenty minutes before the end, the patience of the viewers will be decently rewarded (though more in terms of atmosphere rather than in explicit visuals).
