"Scanners III" is a movie that you could easily miss because it doesn't mean anything for the series anyway. It is a movie that could have been made countless times on this subject. Simply take the character of a scanner, possibly take more of them, and add some banal plot to it. The movie tries to say something, but it says the same thing as Cronenberg's film, which was able to present it truly darkly.
