Architect Lucius' perfectionism costs him his job in Ancient Rome. The Japanese have a knack for coming up with such unexpected stories that it simply takes your breath away, and essentially that's enough to enchant you with the film until the end. The creators decided to take as the main character a Roman spa designer who time-travels to modern Japan, where he draws inspiration for ancient baths. It’s crazy, and yet it works as a comedy, fantasy, light drama, and romance.
