englanti Truth. What is truth actually? Are we ready for the truth? Truth is generally a topic that is often depicted and discussed in films. The film "The Truth" probably thought it would be revolutionary in some way, but I am struggling to think of a reason why it should be. When you watch the film, you won't see anything special about it. Yes, it tells the story of terrible events that happened somewhere in South America, but such events also happen elsewhere in the world. Just think of the film "Waltz with Bashir," which I recently wrote about. That's just how it is. Terrifying things happen, whether they are real or partially or completely fictional. In the film "The Truth," hiding in the forest seems like a rather boring affair, as if people were just preparing themselves to be taken down the whole time. When that happens, you sadly yawn about it. The film can't be that boring when it's about killing innocent victims! But "The Truth" managed to do it. Andy Garcia delivers a decent performance, but his role is so strange that he can't even save it. A CIA agent - former, I must point out - who has his own radio show where he wants to talk about truth. When needed, he is capable of returning to action and essentially shooting down an army on his own. Just weird. Forest Whitaker doesn't really have much to play, Eva Longoria just briefly appears and still looks good. A film that thinks it's about something, but in the end, it's actually about nothing. What good is the truth when it is presented in a way that nobody cares about it? More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2013/01/volte-me-sousedska-hlidka-universal.html ()
