It's quite likeable that Bonny & Clide is not just a classic cover version of the 1967 film, but instead goes its own way. Bluebirdfilms didn't spare any expense - they didn't just use one retro car, they also made up various settings like a beautifully dingy gas station or a nice bar with a full band. The costumes are cool, too, and so what if the ladies don’t know how to walk in them? In this genre, it's enough that they're matching together. Paul Chaplin performs his acting etudes with ease and Natasha Marley is simply sweet.
