Chicken with Plums

The year is 1958. An Iranian violinist, the greatest of all times, rediscovers an old love. Returning home, he argues with his wife and, to top it all off, he discovers that his prized instrument is broken. Unable to find a replacement, the musician slowly falls to pieces. Lying in bed, he embarks on an inner journey towards the reasons for his art and his own personality. (Sitges Film Festival)
