englanti With any Korean dorama, I'm usually mostly interested in the fates of the main characters. But here it's good that everything doesn't revolve around the main couple. Because the other stories are also interesting and entertaining. Shin-hye Park is a big favorite of mine, so I was glad that she was given enough space here. Yong-hwa Jeong, on the other hand, I was quite worried about; but after a few episodes I grew to like him a lot too. Heartstrings doesn't have the same level of quality as Dream High, but it's pretty similar to it in terms of content. And finally, a good OST again. The plot is varied, the music sequences full of energy... 4.5 stars. ()

englanti Nothing pretentious, it just flows; and while many might find fault with this, it doesn't focus solely and exclusively on the main couple, which is fine in this case. We don't mind going into "someone else's kitchen" from time to time. You could even say it's about nothing, but I beg to differ. Some romantic relationships are just gravy (even if there are chunks in it at times); the important thing is the goal, that’s what makes the show. It's a bit like the weak boiled-over soup stock of Dream High. But that kind of naive comfort, that kind of "magic" that kind of makes you want to watch it fades away and you wonder, why am I still watching this? Habit? And then comes the finale. The denouement = dreadful. Solving all the problems of disease is just... and then add extra pain so you can go to the UK and show everyone how strong their love is, sure? Oh well. A weak 3 stars – and for a long time I was thinking I was going to give it 2 stars. Perhaps I'm giving it the 3 for the fact that the wimp from You're Beautiful showed up as a real “male" and put it together with his "female". :-D ()
