Picking up the dismembered pieces from where the last instalment left off, Hatchet 3 follows the exasperated Marybeth, convinced she has finally destroyed the swamp monster Victor Crowley, turn herself into police to report the massacre that claimed her father and brother. For me, it’s as weak as the second part. Victor Crowley should have packed up immediately after the successful first part by Green. That one was refreshing, bloody and fun. This one is the exact antithesis.
