For Lovers Only

A few years ago, I wanted to write a novel. It was supposed to be about two people who had once met, madly fell in love, wanted nothing more than to stay together, but in the end had to say goodbye. Years later, they would meet again to find out that some old loves really never grow old, and they now want to be together even more than before. But I never wrote that novel because I couldn't decide what ending it should have. Whether a sweet happy ending or an inevitable sobering up. Therefore, I now bow my head with hesitation before Marek Polish, who apparently had a similar idea but managed to bring it to an excellent creative and narrative ending. And he also got to play the main character alongside Stana Katic. This is his dream story, with his own experiences of intimate partnership and unforgettable memories. I'm not giving it a fifth star just because of the incomprehensibly overdone first ten minutes, which scared me with a certain pseudo-artiness. The rest is personal. Perfect. (10.05.2013)
