englanti An outstanding cast, fairly ordinary scenery. Eric Bana enjoys playing a bad guy and you just have to root for him, Olivia is wonderful here and everybody else’s acting is just great. The story certainly isn’t predictable, but it’s sort of... nothing out of the ordinary. The message is nothing new, just that blood isn’t any thicker than water. But positive impressions dominate. Thumbs up. ()

englanti "Deadfall" is a thriller and I've thought a lot about whether to review it here, in my weekly overview, or to review the film on Necronomicon. I told myself that we've had enough of these kinds of films, which are primarily action-packed and dramatic, on Necronomicon and there will be plenty more. There's nothing particularly special about the film "Deadfall", although it's true that it was possibly the first time I saw Eric Bana play in such a way that I actually liked it. The other actors are also excellent. Olivia Wilde finally has a role where she's not just a beauty, but can also show some of her talent. It's not much, but it works. Well, Sissy Spacek and Kris Kristofferson are constants who always please with their performances. All of them came together in a film whose motives I don't quite understand. There's simply a pair of killers and thieves who split up to pursue their own destinies. She may find something more than she was looking for, but what about him? He's an uncompromising killer. Will he get out of all the troubles he causes? The problem with the film is that it can have a fairly good atmosphere when Bana is on the scene, but otherwise it tries to incorporate elements into the story that just don't work. The love between the released prisoner and the found woman. The relationship between son and father, the fates of other characters - these are just some extra fillers that don't bring anything essential to the story. Some scenes are really good, but as I said, Bana has to be on the scene, because his murderer is quite a successful lunatic. Nothing special, he won't be the new Lecter, but for the purposes of the film, he is above average. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2013/01/tobruk-valcik-s-basirem-2-dny-v-new.html ()

englanti Eric Bana is once again mentoring in a tough survival environment with a minimalist feeling. This time, he traded a little girl for a big one, but he's still just as tough and concise (plus), while the script is traditionally uneven and unnecessarily multilayered, but it doesn't work (minus).
