englanti I really like Adam Sandler. Sometimes his movies are not my cup of tea, sometimes they are even literally boring. Other times I have no problem with rating his movie five stars. I did not expect it to happen with this one. I watched it at a time when I had bronchitis so I wasn’t in a great mood. My throat ached so much that every time I laughed I felt a pretty uncomfortable pain. I still could not miss Sandler in his newest movie and I have to say that the sincere laughter I had while watching this movie was worth the pain. That’s My Boy is an extremely honest comedy with the classic catchphrases only Sandler can come up with. For a long time his movies did not bring me as much joy as this flick. I’m sure it wasn’t the last time I watched it. ()

englanti The hellishly edgy motherfucker role fits Sandler somewhat surprisingly like a glove, and it has to be admitted that a viewer with an innate tolerance for boorish and perverse humour will appreciate this insane flick far more than any of his film since The Longest Yard. I'm a bit of a fan his comedies, so I survived this one without any psychological harm and almost with a permanent grin, but I'm of course aware of how incredibly stupid and unoriginal the plot is (in the sense of the constant repetition of the same jokes) and for the next time I'd rather reach for something more proven from Sandler's stagnant filmography. At least he approached the role with great gusto, which is really probably the only really good thing. ()

englanti Adam Sandler is a contradictory personality, and the film "Můj otec je šílenec" (My Dad Is Crazy) just proves that. Aside from the fact that the Czech title is once again unique and has no connection to the English title, Adam Sandler's acting itself is a controversial matter. In the first part, I wondered if this person was even serious. After the film "Jack and Jill," I almost condemned him because it was truly a terrible film. After the first hour of the film "Můj otec je šílenec," I was almost convinced of this opinion. Adam Sandler plays a fool, an alpha male who doesn't care about hygiene, how he behaves, or how he looks. No, don't expect anything to change in that regard. Sandler plays the same way throughout, with an incredibly imbecilic diction on top of it. He didn't captivate me at all, and I was more inclined to turn off the film. I didn't do it, and in the end, I got used to it. When I managed this, I actually enjoyed it. However, you have to accept that it won't be intelligent humor. It will be vulgar and silly humor, simply classic Adam Sandler, taken even further as if his character didn't even want sympathy. There's truly no reason to feel anything sympathetic towards him. He's a nobody who hasn't accomplished anything, but he's the toughest guy in the world who also had an affair with his teacher when he was underage, and she gave birth to a child nine months later. Yes, Domy (Sandler) has a son named Han Solo, who prefers to be called Todd (Andy Samberg). They don't get along, but there's chemistry between them nonetheless. Sandler also invited other interesting actors and celebrities. The role of Vanilla Ice is quite satisfying, and we'll see Susan Sarandon, with an excellent performance by Milo Ventimiglia. Sandler doesn't shy away from any topics, once again, nothing is sacred to him, and in the end, it's funny. Or at least the film is somewhat funny at times. However, not everyone will see it that way. After the initial disappointment with the movie, I have to admit that it's not so terrible after all and it has some meaning within it. And of course, the moral lesson at the end shouldn't be missing, even though this time it's in a bizarre interpretation. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/12/sherrybaby-lets-dance-unesena.html ()
