Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Babylon Revisited," this motion picture tells the story of a writer (Van Johnson) who returns to Paris and remembers the life he once led in The City of Lights. During the Liberation of Paris at the close of World War II, he meets and falls in love with a beautiful rich girl (Elizabeth Taylor). They marry and have a lovely daughter together.
