Kolme on kuollut. Hän on "Numero neljä". Jännityselokuvistaan tunnettu D.J. Caruso on ohjannut trillerin poikkeuksellisia kykyjä omaavasta nuorukaisesta nimeltä John Smith (Alex Pettyfer), joka pakenee henkensä kaupalla hänen peräänsä lähetettyä vihollista. John vaihtelee henkilöllisyyttään ja muuttaa kaupungista toiseen holhoojansa Henrin (Timothy Olyphant) kanssa—niin hän on joka paikassa uusi tulokas vailla menneisyyden siteitä. Sitten ohiolaisessa pikkukaupungissa, jossa John tällä kertaa sattuu asumaan, tulee vastaan sarja yllättäviä tapahtumia—hän tapaa uuden ihastuksen (Dianna Agron) ja saa uusia ällistyttäviä voimia sekä yhteyden muihin, jotka jakavat hänen uskomattoman kohtalonsa. englanti Sci-fi is a genre that is considered by many to be already exhausted. I don't think so, and in my opinion, there are still themes and developments that need to be discovered. Originality exists here, after all, there can be so many different inventions and worlds! But it seems that there can't be so many innovations after all. Duncan Jones could refute that, but D. J. Caruso has decided to go the old way. He takes a boy with special abilities, creates a bit of mythology around it, maybe adds some monster and dark killers who are simply bad, and we have the classic battle of good versus evil, which wants to be action-packed but is also occasionally family-friendly like "E. T. - The Extra-Terrestrial". "I Am Number Four" can offer only one thing, and that is an effort for good execution, which succeeded. The creators follow the classic framework of similar sci-fi stories, they don't differentiate too much and show us that it can be done the same way for multiple times and still be entertaining. Is the film outstanding? It doesn't have to be outstanding, because it gives us exactly what we want, if we are not too demanding. It is simple popcorn entertainment that doesn't require much thinking. What more could you want? More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/07/happy-feet-2-bobr-cislo-4-musketyri.html ()

englanti My name is John Smith, I am number four and they call me a teenage romance for guys. With a story background or plot complexity, no one really worries about it too much, but since Caruso and Bay stopped somewhere between Dianna Agron's eyes and Alex Pettyfer's natural charisma, I don't really have time for any objections. High school melodrama combined with an ultimate action finale takes your breath away surprisingly easily. ()

englanti Who are we kidding? It was a disaster! I kept looking away from the screen and getting bored. My two stars go to the fantastic Dianna Agron. ()

englanti It’s as if two of the most horrendous trends in modern Hollywood (the Bay style of mindless CGI-packed action and the Twilight style of silly teenage romance) had a child. The protagonist is incredibly unlikeable and the film unfortunately revolves entirely around him, it’s so empty that it actually feels like the pilot episode of a TV show. D.J. Caruso is a quite competent director, so the action sequence at the end was at least bearable. 35 % ()

englanti Panoramas and work with light like Michael Bay, the action is also very good, the main characters are likeable, but conceptually it a B-movie through and through, fortunately without pretending to be anything else. Everything explodes as it should and nobody expects a different ending. Fortunately, it is dynamic and entertaining within its limits. I wasn't expecting a bigger hit, and I didn't get it. It is a solid action flick and I sincerely hope there won't be a sequel, It won’t offer anything at all. ()
