Secrets of a Secretary

One of the last films produced by Long Islands Astoria Studios, which was desperately trying for a big hit before the doors slammed shut. Colbert stars as a flighty rich girl who impulsively marries a South American gigolo while on a cruise. After the death of Colberts wealthy daddy, the gigolo takes off when he realizes shes broke. Forced to work, Colbert takes a job as the social secretary to her fathers best friends wife.
