I just confirmed to myself that I don't like historical films. I don't know if it's the costumes, the slightly exaggerated acting, or simply the fact that I'm not fond of the period or the way the story is told. Even though I can see that the film is well-made, it fails to evoke any emotions in me. And it won't just be this one.
