Judge Rhinehole orders the Sunny Buttocks Nudist Camp closed down as an affront to the community. The members of the camp enter into a suicide pact, but vow to return for vengeance. Five years later, a group of campers on a retreat argue with each other about religion and sing big production numbers as the group begins experiencing an attrition problem. Searching for obscure musicals is such a personal guilty pleasure for me from time to time, so I could not miss out on a musical about the living dead from a nudist colony. And lo and behold, it is a semi-amateur B-movie of the trashiest caliber, whose lack of quality is directly proportional to its high levels of entertainment. The songs range from insanely simple nonsense to incredibly catchy melodies (the movie has probably the best song for getting up in the morning that you could ever imagine). The acting, set design, screenplay, and direction - well, perhaps there is no need to comment. Nudist Colony of the Dead is a clear candidate for Prague's Shockproof Film Festival, and at the same time, quite a spectacle that you can enjoy at home whilst consuming alcohol or other intoxicants (if you also love to watch obscure trashy horror movies).
