As children, Ja-Ha (Seo Do Young) and Eun-Young ( Han Hyo Joo) live in an isolated island village. When Ja-ha's father leaves him alone, Ja-ha fears his father may not come back. While making arrangements to run away, he meets Eun-Young, a sweet but sickly village girl. What begins as merely a friendship develops into an unlikely love story. A nice and interesting script presented at a slow and melancholic pace. The story and the beautiful music are the strongest points. I had goosebumps at some of the dialogue and tears in my eyes at a few of the scenes. Still, I think that 16 episodes would have been enough. I liked the child cast, the adult cast a little less. It's a cute dorama, but I couldn't quite get into it. 3.5 stars.
