englanti A pleasant Sunday fairytale, and given that it was written by Miloň Čepelka and the dramaturgy was handled by Štěpánka Haničincová, it could hardly have turned out otherwise. It’s too bad about the wooden Karel Greif in the lead role, because he was really bland to the core. I really liked Jan Přeučil in his unusual role of the caring father - the Duke (as his demonic brother he did nothing new) and I was also impressed by Jiří Václav's music, which at times sounded like something from Lord of the Rings (in a more intimate way, of course) and in the final suspenseful scene with the cups it even reminded me of Goldsmith's Alien. Seriously. ()
