1942. Brussels. Seven-year-old Misha sets out on a desperate journey, to escape the Nazis and find her parents. Alone, traumatized, terribly vulnerable. Her salvation arrives in the form of a family of wolves, who adopt her. A unique and powerful love gradually develops between the girl and her animal protectors.
