A prim socialite (Kelly) finds herself in a the middle of a comic mess when her ex-husband (Crosby) and an amorous reporter (Sinatra) come to cover the preparations for her upcoming wedding. Adding to the tension is her skirt-chasing father, who's also returned home for the ceremony. The resulting confusion--and several potent drinks--melt the ice princess's frosty exterior. If it wasn't for those songs, I probably wouldn't enjoy it at all. It's not a bad movie, after all, there are very good actors and musicians here, but it's just a silly thing that won't surprise you in any way story-wise. And that star-studded cast didn't seem breathtaking to me in this case either because the chemistry doesn't really work here, which is not good. Additionally, Grace Kelly seemed annoying to me and not cute.
