englanti I was expecting a spy (and, given the director's name, hopefully action) spectacle in the style of The Fourth Protocol, but I got something completely different. But that doesn't matter at all. This is the fourth time Michael Caine has reunited with Laurence Olivier in a film (after Battle of Britain, Sleuth and A Bridge Too Far) and the interplay between these two masters is as good to watch as their separate scenes. The Jigsaw Man is an interesting, suspenseful, but at the same time somehow relaxed neglected thing, which, besides the fact that it came out at all, pleased me especially with its unexpectedly nice, friendly ending. Of course, there are flaws - without the aforementioned gentlemen, the show would be half-hearted, and the relationship storyline, which motivates one of the characters (I won't reveal which) to certain actions, is almost ridiculous. Nevertheless - three and a half stars rounded up.__P.S. ()
