Expedice Altaj - Cimrman mezi jeleny

Experts on Cimrman on an expedition to foreign climbs... An attempt at making an uninteresting pseudo-documentary a little special. However, it remained only an attempt since the Cimrman element is grafted on so forcibly, uninventively and simply lamely. But Expedice Altaj would not have worked alone, either. It is the direct opposite of what a documentary should contain and show. The idea itself isn’t completely awful and the visual record of this expedition might even have been good... But unfortunately this isn’t the case. It does our beloved Cimrman an injustice to use his name for such a sorry affair. (25.10.2007)

I was expecting something in the style of Stopa vede do Liptákova, and I got something completely different and very strangely bad. I give one star for my favorite cimrmanologist Miloň Čepelka and for one single joke with a rejuvenated genius. Otherwise, this "film" is a bad joke - a very ordinary, mediocre documentary, grafted onto Jára Cimrman "for the sake of spice", grafted in a rather skeletal, uninteresting and humorless way.
