Falešná kočička aneb Když si žena umíní

Vlasta Burian as a drunkard posing as a dentist, who pulls out one tooth after another in the chair and "likes me - doesn't like me" while thinking of his former love, that's simply a must-see. Not that The False Pussycat offers anything but great performances from our later king of comedians, but what he does is simply great and unrivalled. He even practices walking with crutches, which he later used in the second half of The Undertaker. (28.02.2016)

A slightly more digestible film for the broader masses. This is also supported by a general knowledge of the excellent sound version with Věra Ferbasová. Personally, I am very satisfied with the silent version because both films side by side form two separate units, each of which is original in some way. (19.02.2009)
