Yes, those were the episodes that deepened Penny and Sheldon's friendship. We also got to see guest appearances by the lovely Sara Rue, the disturbed Riki Lindhome, and Leonard's mother, played by the great Christine Baranski. Does anyone else remember Summer Glau?

Season 2 didn't bring any disappointment, the individual characters were fleshed out and there wasn't a single episode I didn't enjoy. The only unpleasant surprise was the sudden disappearance of Dr. Stephanie without any mention of her by anyone, but I quickly forgave the writers and was compensated for it by being introduced to Leonard's mother. Otherwise, I was satisfied in every way. I had a great time throughout and boredom was not an option.
