Death Sex (S01E08)

After Eddie (Brad Garrett) fails to get a straight answer from his MRI technician on the diagnosis of his back pain, both he and Joy (Joely Fisher) fear the worst. However, their relationship takes a turn for the better after they start making the most of their time together. Upon learning that his pain is not life threatening, Eddie decides to keep the news to himself so that he and Joy can enjoy their newfound appreciation for each other, not to mention the “death sex.” Eddie soon learns that not confessing the truth about his condition might not be the best long-term medicine for his marriage and relationship with his friendly neighbors, Jeff (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Steph Woodcock (Kat Foster).
