englanti The basic skeleton of a plot isn't wasted, and the scenes with Gein retain a satisfying suggestiveness thanks to effective visual cues and the physical appearance of an asshole named Kane Hodder, while the reveal of the killer's lair by a group of investigators is also a rather depressing experience. Unfortunately, the rest of the film looks terribly amateurish, the washed out filter is unbearable, the actors are like from Esmeralda and they could have refrained from the family pathos and clichés at the end. I’m giving it 2*, though it's perhaps better than all the Texas Massacres since the legendary original – at least this one maintains a coherent face (or rather faces, in Mr. Gein's case). ()
