Blockbuster

An aspiring scriptwriter (Zdeněk Svěrák) looks forward to having his first script made into a movie. However, the crazy director (Ladislav Smoljak) decides to adapt the story from contemporary countryside as a senseless show. Its protagonists become teacher Eliška (Hana Zagorová), pyrotechnist Ticháček, and a rich dandy named Lenský (Juraj Kukura) who keeps singing hits whilst taking the shy teacher for a walk. The parody of our wheezing attempts to rival Hollywood grandeur presents the elite of 1970s pop singers. (Febiofest)
