Mena Suvari unforgettably stars as Brandi, a hard-partying, overworked nursing assistant in this delicious, darkly humorous psychological thriller from director Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator, From Beyond). Brandi accidentally steers her car into a homeless man, movingly played by Stephen Rea, sending him flying through the windshield. Not wanting to jeopardize a possible job promotion, she chooses not to get him medical help, leaving him clinging to life in her garage. But soon her psyche begins to unravel as captor and captive are pitted against each other in a bloody...even outrageous battle for survival. (jakelijan virallinen teksti)

englanti An effective horror thriller with a touch of black humour by Stuart Gordon. I expected something like the B-movie version of Misery, but the opposite is true. What makes Stuck so interesting is that the villain is a normal person driven by a desire to stay away from trouble. The bloody scenes are scarce (but very good), and you will laugh more often than look away. Although there are quite a few funny scenes (for instance, the opening shot of the old people in a retirement home with a hip-hop soundtrack), the film never falls into the realm of comedy, which is good. It’s supposed to be based on real events, and I’m quite willing to believe it. Certainly recommended. ()
