As you can tell from my rating, I wasn’t impressed. The film felt twice as long because I soon lost interest in the plot. It was all rather dull, there was little humor for a comedy, the writing was weak overall, I didn’t relate to the main character, and the only moment worth some laughs for me was the school bus. I’m not saying it was a total flop, it wouldn’t offend even Catholic housewives despite its subject matter, I just found it a bit boring and not very funny. / Lesson learned: Screw fate and just go for it.
