Yes, it's a sequel to the Indian remake of E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial crossed with Superman, Batman, and basically also Spiderman. However, there’s also plenty of masala. Hrithik and Priyanka are the sweetest couple around, and even though young Krrish is downright childish, Priyanka makes up for his naivety with a grace all her own. Singapore is also great, so what did it matter that I was worried about the distinctiveness of an Indian film that would just blindly copy Western blockbusters? Nope. The Indians just can handle absolutely anything, including sci-fi. And of course, "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" is the best song of choice, I hum it regularly. :)) (20.09.2010)
