Set in Amsterdam, DAISY tells the story of a love triangle between a young girl and the two men in her life. Hye-young (Jeon Ji-hyun) is a painter in Amsterdam who looks after her grandfather's antique shop during the week and earns extra money as a street painter on weekends. It's through her painting that she meets Jeong-woo (Lee Sung-jae), an Interpol cop who is chasing a criminal, but keeps Hye-young in the dark about his real work. The other man, Park Yi (Jung Woo-sung), is a hit-man who found a soft spot for her and watches her from afar for some time. However, being shy and ever mindful of the dangers of his professional career Park Yi can only make small gestures to her while still staying in the shadows. Hye-young is dying to meet the man who leaves flowers on her doorstep every day, and built a bridge over a stream for her after she once fell in. Both men try to woo her from afar while still hiding their identities, as she remains alone but moved by these incredible gestures to her. It's only a matter of time before the hit-man and Interpol agent cross paths and things really begin to unravel in this action-fueled romance story. (jakelijan virallinen teksti)

englanti I was a bit worried about the film being set in Holland. Now I'm glad that’s where it took place. The presentation, the music, and the scenery make a wonderful combination together. Everything fits together nicely without being overdone. It has its own elements and the different stories intertwine in an interesting way. Even though it is a tragic film, it felt like a caress. And on top of that, the cast! I give it 5 stars for the film as a whole and especially for the heartbreaking ending. ()

englanti Nice to look at, the setting is pretty, the flowers too. The music is very pleasant. But it was all kind of spoiled for me by the story, which definitely falls into the average category (plus there were moments when I was literally watching what was flying around where, rather than paying attention to what was happening on the screen, because I just wasn't interested in it at that moment). But if you like clichés made up of "guns" and "heart", go for it. Plus, Woo-sung Jung is likable. ()

englanti According to the synopsis, I simply expected it to be more interesting, and to have a greater impact on the viewer, but I just couldn't seem to squeeze out those emotions. The movie is good, it works as a romance, it somewhat works as a thriller, but it's not something I would say is perfect and mind-blowing. ()
