Juonikuvaukset(1)

After his father's accidental death, Kale (Shia LaBeouf) remains withdrawn and troubled. When he lashes out at a well-intentioned but insensitive teacher, he finds himself under a court-ordered house arrest. His mother continues to cope, working extra shifts to support herself and her son, as she tries in vain to understand the changes in his personality. The walls of his house begin to close in on Kale as he takes chances to extend the boundaries both physical and emotional ñ of his confinement. His interests turn outside the windows of his suburban home toward those of his neighbors, including a mutual attraction to the new girl next door (Sarah Roemer). Together, they begin to suspect that another neighbor is a serial killer. Are their suspicions merely the product of Kale's cabin fever and vivid imagination? Or have they unwittingly stumbled across a crime that could cost them their lives? (Paragon Pictures)

englanti D.J. Caruso may not be in the category of directorial geniuses, but Temporary is honestly made craft, with a decent script (with a notorious theme since 1954) and especially a fantastic Shia LaBeouf. There hasn't been a teenager with such a flexible range of acting abilities in years. A likable film worth a Single watch that proves that even teen movies can be entertaining and clever at the same time. ()

englanti Disturbia is a combination of the thriller classic Rear Window and the independent film Cherish, presented in teenage packaging. This is a case where lively and high-quality direction surpasses the average script containing inconsistencies and unfinished elements. It is precisely because of the direction and casting that I ultimately lean toward giving it four stars, even though scenes such as when the protagonist fearlessly enters a house, knowing that he will inevitably confront a brutal serial killer who is significantly bigger, stronger, and experienced in the field, evoke a indulgent smile from me. I believe that you would do the same as him, but I would prefer to provoke the neighbors and the police. Overall impression: 70%. ()

englanti I don't know why Shia LaBeouf seems so scared and unshaven in all his movies, but maybe that's why I enjoy his movies in the end. In the beginning the movie seemed to me like "Home Alone for Grownups", gradually the movie picked up momentum and by the end I probably couldn’t even catch my breath. ()

englanti To blame Disturbia for using the most recycled thriller premise and not providing any moments of surprise would be unfair. It is a well-crafted thriller for teenagers, who don’t care a bit about Hitchcock or his Rear Window. The slightly boring first hour rests solely on Shia LaBeouf’s shoulders and he bears this responsibility with dignity. Sarah Roemer may remind you of your first love in high school. And the last twenty minutes have some decent escalation. ()

englanti For me personally, this was a bit of a test for Shia LaBeouf to see if he really is that good even without "giant fucking robots" covering his back. And it seems that he is. So I hope that he will carry on in this vein. P:S: Sarah Roemer is the second best looking fox on the silver screen this year. ()
