FilmRETURN tells the story of a German filmmaker (Wim Wenders regular Rüdiger Vogler) who is making a movie about the Spanish Civil War. The history of Madrid serves as a pretext for reflecting upon the boundaries between fiction and documentary and their relationship to history.
