englanti The ending didn't impress me, but before it happened, this comedy was black and I couldn't watch it with anything but enjoyment. Apart from the clever script, which initially follows all the characters separately and gradually intertwines their stories, giving rise to more and more very funny moments, it is mainly thanks to the excellent actors. And without exception, because both Dennis Price as the tabloid blackmailer and the entire quartet of his victims (complete with the writer's permanently terrified, yet murderous daughter on command,) are magnificent. Peter Sellers and his disguises and accents deserve praise, of course, but in 1957 he was just becoming a big star and The Naked Truth is not based on his performance alone, which is nice. ()
