The second entry in the Blood Island trilogy lives up to its cursed reputation as enraged, green-blooded monsters prowl the haunted jungles. An American pathologist is called in to investigate a series of grisly killings, with victims' limbs and innards gruesomely strewn about the crime scenes. Of course, it's a bit boring at times, tricks-wise it's kind of mediocre, the masks aren't very good and most of the movie is hard to see, but on the other hand, this Filipino production must be acknowledged for being simply entertaining and there are places that grab your attention. Especially if you're in the mood for a B-movie. It's evident that Eddie Romero knew how to shoot B-movies, he just needed a little more room to grow.
