Little did Margaret Harwood (Penelope Ann Miller) imagine the international intrigue she would unleash when discovering a rare bottle of wine in France in the Peter Yates adventure comedy, Year of the Comet. Year of the Comet is quite silly and isn't as funny as you'd like, but it's still a pretty good, at times pleasantly absurd comedy that can make you laugh. The chemistry between the main characters is kind of frantic, but it works in the end. If the jokes had more weight to them, it would have been even better.
