Jan Troell and George Oddner are great creators of images, and also old friends. In this documentary, Troell presents a biographical sketch of Oddner which covers fifty years. From his childhood summer vacations in Estonia and Russia, stopping at his youth as a jazz drummer and trainee of the legendary photographer Richard Avedon in New York to culminate in his varied career in the field of photography.
