Tinke

The year is 1850 and nine-year-old Tinke is dirty and hungry. Both her parents are dead and she has been surviving on her own out in the wilderness. She meets Larus, a shepherd boy, who gives her milk and bread to eat. He gains her confidence and realizes that Tinke will starve to death unless he helps her. Larus brings her back with him to the farm where he works. It's discovered that her mother left her a precious necklace that proves that she came from a very rich family. Learning this, the master of the farm is determined to find Tinke's grandparents, hoping they'll pay good money for her. But when the grandparents are located, Tinke has difficulty convincing them that she is their granddaughter because she's lost her necklace... (Zlín Film Festival)
