Raincoat

After Choker Bali: A Passion Play, the reunion between Rituparno Ghosh and Aishwarya Rai provided me with another extraordinary encounter with a different form of Indian cinema. This time, however, Rai got a really good counterpart in Ajay Devgan and together they left all the other actors far behind. It’s perfect how only a raincoat can become a natural catharsis of an old love flare-up. (06.05.2010)
