Bean - äärimmäinen katastrofielokuva

We still have the (probably no longer working) original VHS at home, and I remember watching the film more than once back then. I went back to The Ultimate Disaster Movie some years after the last screening, and it was indeed a nostalgic return. Mr. Bean and his hijinks definitely work better in short sketches and with a minimum of words, no question about it, yet this film version it's a fun romp that references the original series in more than one place. I had the most fun with Bean's nighttime mission at the museum and his amateurish (but supremely effective) doctoring at the hospital. (20.06.2023)

These are mainly individual gags, with the funniest ones being on TV. I'm not saying it's not funny, but when a person sees this more often, it becomes quite boring. This happened to me when I saw it maybe for the third time. It's okay, but this comedy is just not exceptional. (28.04.2014)
