The Shuttered Room

The film was produced by British production companies Seven Arts Pictures and Troy-Schenck Productions, rather than studios like Hammer or Amicus. They are not as bold in what is depicted, but there are still scenes here that won't leave you calm, and even though they are not explicit, they are quite uncomfortable to watch. Another example of how British horror was much more interesting in the past than it is today, as it tries to be too Americanized. (25.03.2017)
