Not too bad a plot... Eddie Murphy passable, humor quite madcap but quite sleazy in places. Average.

When I first saw this movie, I quite enjoyed it. But now Eddie Murphy just seems loud, theatrical, and boring to me. His fart jokes are no longer funny, and it can't be compared to the original version at all. Jerry Lewis may have been crazy too, but his film had meaning and depth. This one really doesn't.
