Mamono Hunter Jóko

Teenage angst abounds when high school student Yohko Mano learns that she is the 107th generation in a family of devil hunters and is obligated to save the world from an invasion of bloodthirsty demons. Yohko's displeasure grows when her grandmother goes on to say that she has no choice in the matter, prompting an inevitable bout of denial from the 16-year-old--who would rather focus her energies on getting the boy she has a crush on to notice her. But when she finds that her friends have been turned into zombies and her high school principal is really a witch, Yohko realizes that the supernatural realm has unleashed an attack on her to prevent her from developing her special powers...and so she begins to fight back.
