Violence (E11)

Emilie comes home but she brings a lifetime of emotional baggage with her, even believing Simon left her mother to die alone as a result of his obsession with catching criminals. Riddled with debts to dangerous criminals and struggling to find breathing space, Attias slips further into self-destruction. Simon finally locates the evidence of offshore dealing he needs to take the crook into custody but when Attias newborn baby dies suddenly in the night, the arrest is delayed – Simon’s relationship with Emilie has taught him the precious value of a child’s life. Attias´ last ditch plan to avoid his creditors is to sell the information on an insider trading deal to a financier friend but the plan goes very badly. When Attias arrives at the meeting with his banker informant, he’s kidnapped and beaten. It seems that Attias is a wanted man with many powerful enemies. (Canal+)
