Last Orgy of the Third Reich is both a cheap, perverse provocation and a film with an interesting subject and idea. It doesn’t serve up the sex and violence as explicitly as its genre peers (e.g. Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS) and the symphonic music gives the film a dimension of seriousness, which is underscored by the dramatic conclusion. But what good is any of that when its so drowsily directed with soap-operatic acting and mainly so endlessly boring?
